UP BOARD EXAM RESULT ( 10th and 12th)

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has declared the results of the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. The exams were conducted in March-April 2023, and the results were announced in the month of May 2023.

The UP board exams are one of the largest school-level exams in the country, with lakhs of students appearing for the exams every year. This year, a total of 37.5 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 and Class 12 exams, which were conducted in over 15,000 centres across the state.

The overall pass percentage for Class 10 this year is 92.3%, which is an improvement from last year's pass percentage of 83.31%. Similarly, the overall pass percentage for Class 12 this year is 89.7%, which is also an improvement from last year's pass percentage of 74.63%.

In Class 10, the top-performing district was Gautam Buddha Nagar, with a pass percentage of 98.6%. In Class 12, the top-performing district was Meerut, with a pass percentage of 97.4%. The results have shown that girls have outperformed boys in both Class 10 and Class 12.

The UP board has also introduced a new assessment system this year, which is based on a continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) model. Under this system, students are assessed on the basis of their performance in internal assessments, practical exams, and project work, in addition to their performance in the written exams.

The UP board has also announced that students who are not satisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation and scrutiny of their answer sheets. The board has also made arrangements for the students to obtain their mark sheets and other documents online, to avoid any inconvenience caused by the pandemic.

In conclusion, the UP board results have been a moment of relief for lakhs of students who appeared for the exams this year. The improved pass percentages and the introduction of the CCE model are positive developments that will help in improving the quality of education in the state. We wish all the students who have cleared the exams the very best for their future endeavors!
